In the Forth Valley Area there are a wide variety of choices for students looking to celebrate St Patrick’s Day, we have done some research into this to help you all out.
In Falkirk:
· New Market bar will be offering a selection of Irish drinks, including: Guinness, Jameson whiskey, and an exclusive Bailey’s mint chocolate shake shot.
In Alloa:
· The Old Brewery will be offering a free drink of Jameson ginger and lime to each customer on St Patrick’s Day.
In Stirling:
· Molly Malones will be serving a wide selection of Irish drinks as well as having live music all day long.
I recently had a chat with a supervisor from Molly Malones and she had this to say:
“We are opening earlier than ever, at 10:00am for breakfast, 11:00am we start selling alcohol, and at 12:00pm the live music starts right up until midnight.”
“We will have face painters and some beautiful balloons outside and inside the pub to make it more colourful.”
“The staff are always in a great mood.”
“The atmosphere is amazing, once you go inside the doors, you feel like you have to stay. You have to experience the buzz, listen to everyone enjoying themselves, laughter, food, drinks. The energy inside the pub is amazing.”
“We make sure it’s the safest environment possible for everyone.”
“We, as a pub, together, make sure it’s a special day. Not only for Irish people living in Stirling but for anyone that wants to celebrate.”
Make sure to celebrate safely and drink responsibly this St Patrick’s Day
